Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge as well as her husband Prince William dropped in to look at Team GB’s home for the next two weeks and met some of Britain’s big medal hopes.
Kate congratulated Adlington on her bronze medal in the 400m freestyle this week – but the swimmer, known for her love of shoes, had other things on her mind.
She admired Kate’s navy wedges, telling her: “I love your shoes.”

Kate, to some kind of degree is the leading sheep of fashion world of the Great Britain. Kate’s unique influence now has its proper noun – ‘Kate effect’ or ‘The Duchess Effect’. The influence has spread from UK to many other parts of the world. Her special and elegant taste for clothing and shoes loved and followed by masses.
Let’s look at the awards Kate won recently. In January 2012, she was voted ‘Headwear Person of the Year’. Middleton was number one on Vanity Fair’s annual Best Dressed lists in 2010, 2011 and in 2012 also their cover star. She was awarded the accolade of ‘Best Celebrity Smile’ in May 2012 after placing first in a poll by Bupa.
Actually, I think the British governments owe Kate an award. She has a great contribution in motivate economy development in high street when the whole country is running into recession.
